Brighterly Scholarship for Kids (Video Contest)
Brighterly is proud to announce a scholarship for kids of ages from kindergarten to the fifth grade. The winner of the scholarship will be determined in a video contest. Your child could win $500 in this competition to further their educational pursuits, so why not seize this opportunity today?
We would accept videos only from kindergarteners or pupils up to the 5th grade.
Applicants must create an original video on the topic: How Do You Do Math at Home? Afterwards, they should email us their submission. Each applicant can only submit one video for the competition.
Your video must meet the following requirements:
- Use of only non-copyrighted material
- Use of English in the video
- Video length up to 2 minutes
- Submission video in AVI, MOV, MP4, or MPEG file format
- When you are ready to upload your file, use either Dropbox or Google Drive. Please restrict access to the video until the contest begins to preserve the integrity of your submission.
- Parents should follow our social media handles on Facebook and Instagram.
- To submit your entry, email [email protected] with the title “How Do You Do Math at Home Submission” and the video file.
- Please attach proof of your child’s academic status to your submission. If your child is in a class higher than grade 5, you will be disqualified from the competition.
Note: Your submission video may show yourself, friends, and kids, or you may even make animated videos to drive your point home. Also, you should only submit one video for this contest. Any participant who presents more than one video will be automatically disqualified from the competition.

This contest will be free and fair in all ramifications. In addition to originality, your video has to be creative, educative, and realistic. This will be a closed competition, and a carefully-selected commission of our tutors will choose the winner of the contest. To measure up to the judges’ selection criteria, consider the following questions:
- What problem are you solving?
- Do you as an applicant firmly explain your point of view?
- Is the initiative unique, or is it simply reproduction of previous content?
Our tutors are unbiased and boast years of interactive learning expertise, with qualifications, educational achievements, and international certifications to prove it. So, you can rest assured that they are in the best position to determine who wins the scholarships for kindergarten students and pupils of 1st to 5th grades.
We will never use your email or personal data for marketing or promotional purposes. Brighterly will protect your email and every other personal detail from all third parties and it will be used for the sole purpose of relating information about the competition.
Brighterly will award the contest winner with a $500 grant which they may use for educational purposes only on Brighterly platform. We will contact the scholarship winner through the email address used to submit the winning video. Also, the winner must reply to the email within five days; otherwise, the scholarship will be revoked.
How to submit the materials
All entries must be submitted to the official Brighterly scholarship email [email protected] with the title “How Do You Do Math at Home Submission.”
Ensure your video is in AVI, MOV, MP4, or MPEG file format. All videos must be in English. For more information, see the “Submission Requirements” section above.
To be eligible for this award, you must have spent at least $500 on training on the Brighterly math learning platform. In addition, all present employees of Brighterly and their family members are not allowed to partake in this competition to ensure fairness in decision-making.
We do not use the scholarship application videos for marketing as all videos submitted for the contest are for the competition only. Failure to adhere to guidelines and submission requirements will disqualify you from the competition. If the winner does not contact Brighterly within five (5) days of receiving the email, the award will be given to the second-place winner. Brighterly maintains the right to publish photographs of winners and their school affiliations on its website.
