If you’re considering Beast Academy as your child’s math learning platform, then taking a look at Beast Academy reviews is the best way to understand if it’s the right fit. Based on Trustpilot 4.5 rating and lots of reviews, Brighterly’s tutors focus on helping children who are lacking knowledge or confidence in math to get up to speed. They use a range of learning techniques and a personalized curriculum to ensure no student gets left behind.
Doesn’t lay down foundational knowledge
Another criticism I found on the forum of Well-Trained Mind is that Beast Academy doesn’t provide enough foundational knowledge for children. If kids don’t have mathematical foundations in place, it makes it impossible to learn more complex concepts.
Note: Brighterly’s tutoring sessions and supplementary resources all factor in the fundamentals of math. This ensures children have the required knowledge for subjects like algebra and geometry.
Learning methodology can be too complex

If you’re wondering, “Is Beast Academy a full curriculum?” the answer is no, but it offers lots of resources. The comic books, in particular, are praised by parents for their engaging nature; this parent on Reddit highlighted that their child will even read them again for fun!

From my own review of the Beast Academy interface, it looks straightforward and engaging. The parent tools have a nice format that visualizes your child’s progress. Equally, the videos and games are easy to access for children.

I have investigated Beast Academy’s customer support myself, and the company does have a dedicated team to offer support. However, I can’t see any evidence of support during the onboarding process.
There are very few reviews online about Beast Academy’s customer support. This means there isn’t much insight into it, but this could also be viewed as a positive. Customers are more likely to complain when things go wrong rather than praise a company when things go right!
I did find this one Beast Academy online review on Yelp that criticized Beast Academy’s communications, which is a vital strand of customer support. They weren’t warned about a class cancellation, which impacted their day.
