Bernadeth Aguado’s Experience Before Brighterly
Bernadeth has 5+ years of experience teaching math online and offline. She also teaches ESL (English as a Second Language). Throughout her career, Bernadeth supported students across a range of learning styles and skill levels, making lessons fun and building math practice around gaps. She guided students through school assignments, classwork, homework, and targeted practice so students learn real, practical skills.
As she joined Brighterly, she brought her expertise to help students build math skills that they use daily, not just during classes.
“Why did I join Brighterly? Simple — Brighterly is all about learning by doing.”
Math is useless when it’s not used outside the classroom. With that in mind, I build learning plans with lessons that show how math is practical. I use visuals and interactive activities and work through problems step-by-step, building students’ math intuition, not just theoretical learning. Brighterly allows me this flexibility, and I believe this is why my students are succeeding.
Current Activities and Approach to Students
Bernadeth has over 5 years of experience teaching both Math and English. She is committed to delivering lessons that don’t overwhelm children but ensure continuous skills improvement. Bernadeth encourages students to ask questions, think outside the box, and explain how they solve problems in their own words. She believes that positivity and empowerment help students build confidence and feel ready to take on a challenge.
Her approach is based on:
- Math is not about memorizing formulas — it’s about building independent thinking.
- Providing an empowering environment is key to real, measurable progress.
“Every student can succeed in math when we teach concepts with patience, clarity, and real-life meaning.”
There’s a difference between getting the answer and actually understanding how to get to it. In my lessons, we focus on that instead of focusing only on the final result.
Backed by 5+ years of classroom experience and tutoring both English and Math, Bernadeth knows how to lead students toward success. So, she keeps developing her teaching methods and refining her approach to online personalized education.
