The Brighterly curriculum is built around a few key features that make learning effective, flexible, and engaging for every child.
Your child’s learning journey with Brighterly is structured, personalized, and easy to follow.
It starts with an initial assessment to understand your child’s current level, including their strengths and areas that need improvement. After that, you’ll have a chance to meet a tutor during a free demo lesson.
Based on these insights, we create a fully personalized K–12 learning plan tailored to your child’s grade, skill gaps, learning pace, and style.
Finally, you can choose a learning plan that fits your budget, with flexible options designed to make ongoing progress effective and accessible.
Brighterly classes are personalized from the very beginning. Before the first lesson, we assess your child’s learning needs and current level to understand how they learn best.
Based on this, we create a research-based, personalized curriculum tailored to your child’s goals, pace, and skill gaps. This ensures that every lesson is relevant, effective, and aligned with your child’s individual progress.
Yes. Brighterly helps children catch up by identifying learning gaps and building a personalized study plan. Lessons focus on strengthening the basics first, then moving step-by-step toward the grade level.
Brighterly supports homeschooling families with personalized 1-on-1 math and reading lessons. It can be used as a full homeschool learning option or as extra support alongside your curriculum. Lessons are adapted to each child’s level and help parents fill learning gaps, build skills, and follow a structured study plan at home.
Brighterly's tutors go through a multi-stage selection and training process designed to ensure consistent teaching quality. We assess not only their subject knowledge but also how they engage with students and adapt their teaching style.
Before starting with real lessons, tutors complete guided practice sessions and teaching simulations to build confidence and ensure readiness. After onboarding, they are supported by a dedicated buddy who helps them maintain high teaching standards.
Brighterly's tutors are carefully selected professionals with strong subject knowledge and proven teaching abilities. In addition to academic qualifications, we focus on their communication skills, ability to explain complex topics in a simple way, and experience working with children.
Every tutor is evaluated not just on expertise but also on how effectively they can support and engage each student.
We ensure consistent tutor quality through continuous monitoring and feedback. Lesson delivery, communication, and student engagement are regularly reviewed, along with student progress, to identify areas for improvement.
Based on these insights, tutors receive ongoing feedback and support to maintain and improve their performance. This system helps us ensure a stable, high-quality learning experience for every student.
At Brighterly, tutor development continues long after onboarding. We provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including access to training, learning resources, and best practices to help tutors continuously improve.
Some tutors also take on additional responsibilities, such as mentoring new teachers or contributing to internal initiatives, which helps build a strong and collaborative teaching community.
Brighterly tutors are STEM-focused professionals, selected according to your preferred schedule and your child's grade. The specific tutor assigned to your child will be chosen based on availability and preferences you provide during registration.
Brighterly tutors provide real-time feedback to students in each lesson, run regular tests. As parents, you’ll get weekly progress tracking reports covering topics your child learned and skills they improved.
You will notice progress in your child’s understanding, confidence, and ability to solve tasks independently, as well as improvements in school performance over time. In addition, tutors provide regular feedback so you can clearly see how your child is progressing and what they are working on.
Beyond better grades, Brighterly helps children build strong foundational skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and develop confidence in learning. These skills support long-term academic success and make it easier for students to learn new topics independently in the future.

A subscription means your child has a regular learning plan with a dedicated tutor - no need to book every lesson manually.
Here’s how it works:
First you choose the plan: 1-4 lessons per week and a subscription period from 1 to 12 months.
We reserve a tutor for the whole subscription period so your child keeps the same schedule and teacher.
During that period, your card is charged every 30 days (rebill). Each payment unlocks the next set of lessons on your balance.
When the chosen subscription period ends, the plan will auto-renew unless you cancel in advance - so learning continues without interruptions.
Why parents love subscriptions:
✅ Your tutor is guaranteed for the whole period.
✅ No surprise charges - payments are regular every 30 days.
✅ Kids stay consistent and motivated with a steady routine.
✅ Parents enjoy peace of mind with pre-scheduled lessons.
⚠️ Please note: subscriptions include automatic charges every 30 days (rebills), and then auto-renew at the end of the chosen period.
Paying for your subscription is simple - everything happens automatically!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Once your subscription is active, your card will be charged every 30 days according to your plan.
- You can always check the next charge date in the Subscription section.
Just make sure the card linked to your account is active, has sufficient funds, and has no restrictions from your bank.
If all looks good, your payment will go through successfully on the scheduled day without you needing to do anything.
You can easily update your card! Just follow these steps:
Go to the *Subscription* tab in the left panel.
Click *Payment Method** and select **Add New Card* to enter your details.
To make it your default card, click the three dots next to it and choose *Make Default*.
Don’t worry, this happens sometimes and it’s easy to fix!
To do:
⚠️ Please note: if you’ve already used all your available classes from the previous Brighterly payment, your future classes will not be available until the payment is successfully fixed.
Want to change your child’s learning pace? Sure - we can help with that!
To do:
Reach out to Brighterly Support team via SMS, WhatsApp, or Email.
Tell us how you’d like to change your subscription (upgrade or downgrade).
To make the process faster, please also share:
If downgrading → which lesson days you’d like to keep, and which ones we should remove.
If upgrading → which new days you’d like to add for lessons.
Our team will adjust your subscription and confirm the updated schedule with you.
⚠️ Please note: payment changes will take effect starting from the next billing cycle.
Yes, you can request to pause your subscription. Each pause period may not exceed 3 months, and the total pause time is limited to a maximum of 4 months per calendar year.
Regarding cancellation, subscriptions are generally non-cancellable within the active billing period. You can request to cancel the auto-renewal for subsequent billing periods, which means your subscription will continue until the end of the current period but will not renew afterward.
Refunds are generally not provided except in specific exceptional cases such as dissatisfaction with the teacher, ongoing service issues, lack of progress after at least three months or 24 lessons, or family emergencies. Refunds, if granted, apply only to unused lessons and are subject to Brighterly’s discretion.
If you want to pause, cancel, or discuss your subscription, you should send a written notice. The request will be reviewed within 1-2 business days.
If you’d like to submit a cancellation request, please:
Log in to your Brighterly cabinet. Go to Subscription > My Subscription > Click on the 3 dots > Choose "Cancel Subscription" > Specify the reason for cancellation and confirm your action.
